Dr. Viveka Kumar

Dr. Kumar has done his MBBS and MD from Banaras Hindu
University and his DM (Cardiology) from L P S Institute of
Cardiology, GSVM Medical College Kanpur. He has got teaching
experience during his MD and DM training and post DM training
for DNB (Cardiology) trainees at Amrita Institute of Medical
Sciences.

He has worked at St. Georges Hospital, London and later on at
Southampton University Hospital, U.K as Interventional
Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. He has vast experience
in performing complex angioplasties (coronary and peripheral)
and doing electrophysiology study, ablations, including
complex arrhythmias (AF and VT) and non-contact mapping (CARTO
and Endocardial solution, ESI and NAVEX). . Kumar excels in
implanting devices like ICD, Combo Devices, Bi-Ventricular
pacing, dual chamber pacing and device explantation.

Before going to England Dr. Kumar had worked as Consultant
Interventional Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Amrita
Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin. He has got several
publications in National and International Journals. He has
conducted many CMEs and Training Programmes in India and
Abroad.

Dr. Sandeep Singh

Dr. Singh did his M.B.B.S from S.N Medical College, Agra in
1986, where was awarded the certificate of merit in Surgery.
After his M.S in General Surgery, he moved to Bombay Hospital
to pursue Cardio - Vascular Surgery. He completed his M.Ch. in
Cardio-Thoracic Surgery from Institute of Cardiology, Kanpur
in 1993.

He has long experience of working in various international
hospitals like the Texas Heart Institute, Houston from where
he did his Cardio-Vascular fellowship; Cleveland Clinic and at
Buffalo General Hospital, USA. He has worked at Royal Prince
Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia, from 2004 to April 2005
and was trained In Complex Aortic and Aortic Root Replacement
Surgery.

Dr. Singh returned to India to work as a Consultant in Escort
Heart Institute, New Delhi. Prior to joining Max Healthcare,
Dr. Singh has worked as Chief of Cardiac & Vascular Surgery,
Metro Group of Hospital & Heart Institute.

The internationally accredited Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. SKS
Marya, is the Director of the Max Orthopaedic & Joint
Replacement Program. Dr. SKS Marya has done his MS from the
P.G. Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh
and DNB from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi
followed by MCh from
Royal Liverpool University Hospital, UK.
He has an impressive record of Academic and Research
achievements.

He has performed more than 3000 Joint Replacement Surgeries of
Knees, Hips, Shoulders, Toes and Fingers. He pioneered
bilateral Joint Replacement of Knee and Hip joints i.e.
replacing both joints in one sitting and also initiated Half
Knee replacement. He has also introduced high flexion knee
replacement surgery and surface replacement surgery for hip in
Northern India. As a clinician, he has been practicing in
India, as well as, abroad. Some of the institutes that he has
been associated abroad are Michael Reese Hospital and Medical
Center, USA, Kantonspittal Chur, Switzerland, Charnley Hip
Center UK, Napean Joint Replace Center, Australia, and Primary
and Total Hip and Knee Replacement Surgeries, Czech Republic
to name a few. His last assignment was as Director Division
of Joint Replacement Surgery and Senior Consultant Orthopaedics and Trauma, Apollo Hospitals, Delhi.
